How to upgrade Flatpress from 1.02 to 1.03 ?
  • I've not found a changelog.txt (is very old) updated file inside flatpress-1.0.3.zip. In my 2 websites with flatpress I made a lot of changes since 2008. I ask if there is an easy way to update manually Flatpress from 1.02 to 1.03.  If I have to change only 2-3 files, I can change manually (like I made to Flatpress 1.0.1 to 1.02). About this I ask if is possible to create a mini update with inside files changed, so is easy to updagre manually.
    Or if is possible to think to an automatic upgrade like in Wordpress.
    Thank you.
  • Hi, you just need to check modified files on github. You just have to check commits...
  • Ok, I've done, so who wants upgrade Flatpress from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 must to do:

    1) Download Flatpress 1.0.3  here https://github.com/evacchi/flatpress/archive/v1.0.3.zip
    2)Unzip v1.0.3.zip
    3)With a ftp program overwrite file fp-includes/core/core.system.php
    4)Copy and past (or overwrite) directory fp-interface/themes/leggero/leggero-v2 in

    Now in Flatpress go in Options, Mantein, and click on Check for updates and you'll see 1.0.3.
  • I've no idea how to check commits on github, comparison between flatpress102.tar.gz downloaded 11 December 2013 and the latest flatpress103 using BeyondCompare gives me this list of changed files, might be of use to someone;
