Actually, I realized after posting the message above that it's not the RSS and Atom Feed plugin/widget. The duplication occurs when you have a disabled plugin but keep it in the right bar area.

I ran into a potential bug with the RSS and Atom Feed plugin. I moved the searchbox widget under the RSS and Atom Feed widget but the search widget remained above the RSS widget. Furthermore, when I disabled the searchbox widget, it caused the RSS and Atom Feed widget to duplicate on the front-end ...

Ha! Yep, you got me there. I didn't enable all of them. Sorry about that. Testing continues - stay tuned.

The storage plugin does not have a submenu in the admin area. However, it can be found in the "Uploader" top menu.

I have simplified this point somewhat in the test plan .

Thanks for clarifying, Frank! That was my first thought but then I remembered shared hosting providers may be hardening the servers by default.
