Re: A cookie with your coffee?

Hi, interesting topic and worth discussing. My 2 cents: Yes, FlatPress should work on HTTP-only servers. There might be reasons we don't know (testing, internal use, you name it) - we should leave every user the freedom of choice. But of course we'll keep encouraging users to go secure! What do the ...

Re: Issue after installing on Raspberry Pi with lighttpd

wpa4711, welcome aboard! I was able to reproduce your problem on a HTTP-only server with "HTTPS only" deactivated in Firefox. And I created a fix - can you please try again with the latest version of our HTTP/HTTPS development branch ? ( Corresponding comment on #378 ) All the best, Arvid

Plus, I can't comment on the blog post entry... "technical difficulties" That was an error in the old Akismet plugin. I switched to the Comment Center plugin (which has the Akismet service included), now it works fine again. Thank you for reporting! Just updated two more FlatPress 1.2 ins...

Re: Updated Azure theme

Hi, thanks for your work! Trying the theme, I noticed a few glitches: Errors on the Theme panel in the Admin Area. Solution: Add comment block to theme.conf.php: /* * Theme Name: ... * Theme URI: ... * Description: ... * Version: ... * Author: ... * Author URI: ... */ BBCode in static pages is not b...

Re: Support Plugin

This will come pretty handy for all of you experiencing problems with FlatPress. With the new plugin, you can easily get (and share) information about your FlatPress installation - helping you and others to identify the causes of your issues.

Nice one, Frank! 8-)

Re: FlatPress 1.3: Release Candidate 1 released, please help testing

Having fixed #99 , the only open issue of the 1.3 milestone is to update the standard plugin documentation on our wiki (issue #81 ). This means, we're very close to finally releasing FlatPress 1.3 "Andante"! 8-) Can you please make a last effort and test the current development version of ...

The correct date is 2024-03-23, not 2024-02-23 as seen in the front page. Plus, I can't comment on the blog post entry... "technical difficulties" See my comment on the blog, I fixed that. Thanks for reporting! Still need to inspect the "technical difficulties" message - your co...

Re: Second beta release of FlatPress 1.2 "Legato": Please help testing

One (minor) question: flatpress is all about minimal and nothing is wrong to ask for something resembling a mail adress during setup. But why is it essential to ask during setup? And if I chose so, why shouldn't I be able to operate flatpress without any associated mail adress? For the sake of comp...
