Re: Does flatpress use cookies?
Thank you for your suggestion, I just removed the comment cookies from FlatPress; this will be part of version 1.2. The price of having to enter your data on each comment is quite reasonable for having a system that works without any cookies (besides the session cookie) - and thus having no hassle w...

Re: Using WinSCP for FlatPress Backup
Thanks for sharing, this is really helpful for automating your FTP backup.
It's worth noting that WinSCP also has a sync dialog for doing this with the program's UI.

Re: Notification Of Comment Received
Hi, thanks a lot
Just to be sure: You have enabled the option "Enable email notification for comments" in Admin Area -> Options -> General settings?
All the best,
Arvid

Re: fp-markdown escaping backslash
The Markdown standard for escapting backslashes is doubling them (documentation), so this can be considered as bug.
I opened an issue, thanks for reporting!

Re: Does flatpress use cookies?
Thinking about this a little longer, I doubt we really need the comment cookies. Thinking about removing them.

Re: Does flatpress use cookies?

At first, a session cookie. https://gdpr.eu/cookies/ says about this: Strictly necessary cookies — These cookies are essential for you to browse the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the site. Cookies that allow web shops t...

Re: lastentries -> curious translation
Shame on me for this one, even the editors of "LinuxUser" noticed in their FlatPress review :roll:. It should be "Einträge", of course. It is fixed already, and will be part of the next FP version. Current file content: https://github.com/flatpressblog/flatpress/blob/master/fp-pl...
