Hi,
your new Flatpress 1.1 is running on PHP 5.3?
The error is a typical PHP 7.4 error, because some Syntax like function xyz ( …element… ) [0] … are no more allowed. So, please, what is PHP Version on which your Flatpress 1.1 is running?

Most Problems are the directory's permissions of the fp-content folder. Please take a look here and Setup your Installation new.

Hi, I'm not sure, but first try should be starting the Flatpress Setup again. After that you have the Flatpress Standard Theme again.
