Reconsider hosting on github?
Hi all, the latest happenings around youtube-dl shows all the problems with hosting on a monopoly-owned, US-based service. Imho free software should run away from being dependent on decisions of those huge companies as fast as possible. Personally I moved my projects away the day the MS aquisition o...

Re: New plugin "GPX Viewer": Displays GPS tracks on map

Is this ia bug in the underlying library? cheers mike You could try it out here: https://www.j-berkemeier.de/ShowGPX...

Adding theme information to the wiki
Yesterday I downloaded Tongara's theme pack from https://mega.nz/#F!4hhAGa5Y!jyE-E3lxQeufWlND0R2Gwg . All but one of the inlcluded themes worked out of the box in a prinstine flatpress install. I'd volunteer to push infos about these packages to the wiki, but would like to discuss some details first...

Re: strange observation, maybe bug in -master and -issue64
No, does not help. With and without clearing the cache the same appearance. After logout the right panel still shows [logout] , resp shows what it shows when logged in. Admin Area Add Entry Logout and [edit] Welcome to flatpress. Reloading changes to what would be expected. (all with -issue64 branch...

strange observation, maybe bug in -master and -issue64
After installing -issue64 and a simple login/logout, without doing anything, under "last entries" the example page is prepended with [edit]. The edit link does not work. When clicked the page refreshes and [edit] is gone. I see the same with master, but with that installation I had played ...

Re: Does flatpress use cookies?
Thinking about this a little longer, I doubt we really need the comment cookies. Thinking about removing them. What's your opinion? I simply commented out all comment related cookies in comments.php. What remains simply works :-) As far as I can see these cookies aren't used anywhere besides being ...

markdown plugin disables comment rendering
Played around with current master. When the markown plugin is installed, version 1.2 from flatpress-extras, comments are no longer rendered.
After disabling the plugin the comments are shown again, so I suspect a problem with markdown.

If it's not too late: A by default cookie-free version.
