Re: What does everyone hope to see in the next version?

If you're curious what's in the upcoming version 1.2 already: I recently updated the changelog :) Massive bump, but I wonder how easy upgrading is going to be for users like me who've edited files outside of plugins, themes and entries (search form replacement, google compatible sitemap, etc, comes...

Re: MiniSimple new theme

eagleman wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 10:14 pm Nice theme, but too minimalistic, in my opinion. You have to put a link to the login page on the left or right side of the home page, otherwise the admin has to find the welcome post, unless he deleted it. In other words, is almost unusable.
Or just type /login.php after the main url.

Re: Does flatpress use cookies?

Yeah, that seems fine to me, especially given that most browsers can be set to store their own stuff for autofill anyway (and seem to do so by default unless you tell it not to!).

Not that I use the default comment system anyway, but it is a good thing for anyone who does!

Re: Does flatpress use cookies?

Good question, I'm sure someone here will let you know soon enough. Regardless, I think there is a plugin here on the wiki for this. https://wiki.flatpress.org/res:plugins:legacyplugins#eu_cookie_directive More info on this plugin here, too: https://www.gsys.biz/blog/eu-cookie-directive-plugin Even ...

Re: Quote of the Day

It's just another workaround to the issue, but yes. Glad to see you got it working.

Keep those "literal" tags in mind, though. They helped me out on many occasions where they shouldn't have needed to.

Re: Quote of the Day

Sure. head to your fp-interface/themes directory, and enter the directory of the theme your blog currently uses (for example, leggero). Then, simply open up your footer.tpl file in your editor of choice. Then place the code where you wish for it to be seen in your footer. Flatpress can have issues w...

Re: Sharing buttons

Just thought I'd add to this with a small update... If you happen to want to include these sharing buttons on your Static pages, directly inserting this code won't exactly work. It's very easy to fix that, though! Once this code has been added to your static page template (I find after the {$content...

Both sound like great ideas.
Likewise, anything additional is welcome.

What does everyone hope to see in the next version?

The last release was nearly a year and a half ago, so I'm sure many people are excited for the next one...

But, I have to ask, what are everyone's hopes and expectations for the next version of the project?

I just feel it would be interesting to hear!
