This is the plan.
For now, I put my effort into the 1.2 testing, so we can release it soon. When this is done, I'll concentrate on the new admin (which looks gorgeous!).

All the best,
Arvid

Hi to you all.
I'm testing this new admin theme.
It's amazing. Thank you!

Some advice:
1) admin/res/sceditor/plugins/ rename : flatpressEmojis.js to flatPressEmojis.js
2) admin/res/sceditor folder emoticons is missing
3) pages comment-center and media-manager are styled properly

if you like help, I'm available ;)

Marco,

welcome to the FlatPress support forum and thank you very much for testing :)
I fixed flatPressEmojis.js and added the missing emoticons folder.

This would be great! The new admin still has topics to work on. I finally found some time again to test it, and these were my findings so far:
  • File upload does not work. In admin.uploader.php, $_FILES arrives just as an empty array :(
  • There were some more template bugs. I fixed them upstream in Master and merged them into the Responsive Admin branch.
  • The Last comments box on the main page says "No comments yet" even if there are
  • Lists in entries are not shown as lists, but as raw BBCode
  • (Would it be good to update SCEditor to its current version 3?)
Oh, and on your website, I saw you built quite a few FlatPress plugins. Would you bother adding them to the plugin list on our wiki, maybe even with nice screenshots?

All the best,
Arvid

Hi Marco,

First of all, sorry to answer you so late.
admin/res/sceditor folder emoticons is missing
I deleted the emoticons folder, because I was planning to use emojis. If you use emoticons as images, they may not work properly.
I fixed flatPressEmojis.js and added the missing emoticons folder.
Thank you very much for fixing it Arvid. I will fix the new bugs you have found

Arvid, a question. Will the new admin be included in version 1.3?

The new admin area is the very reason for version 1.3!
Seriously, I am a bit ashamed of how slowly I manage to make progress there. (Even answering here took me three weeks...) Finding sufficient time for FlatPress is currently my endboss, there's so much going on at work and at home. At least, I merged the latest changes from master into the admin branch recently, and tested it a little more.

Parallely, I received a few more bugs and issues, so we may have other 1.2.x versions. If so, I will merge these changes into the 1.3 branch as well, so it stays up to date.

All the best,
Arvid

Hello
I have tried to test the new admin panel, but there is a huge problem.
I have inserted the user and password chosen by me but the new panel is not shown.
What's the problem?
Obviously I'm not using it on my main website, but only on a test one freewaresnews.altervista.org

Tested on my alternative webspace. The new Fp with responsive admin panel finish the setup process without problem but is not possible to login. With the correct password it shows again the login window. This is caused by php 7.3. Probably with PHP 7.4 it could work good, but I don't want to mess up my two blogs without the possibility to login and modify them.
