FlatPress support forum

Hello,

so far I like Flatpress quite a bit.

Tweaked it for my needs & all seems satisfactory so far.

However, one thing I can't figure out is how to remove the Admin and Login on the main page.

For some reason it bothers me seeing it there & so does all that view the page.

I would rather use the links for login and logout instead.

I've seen a couple of references to the admin & login in php but removing them does nothing.
(so I put them back so as not to confuse what i've done so far.)

How can I do this ?

add: I tried deleting it with the included widget and it did nothing.
The best I was able to do is move it to the bottom of the page.

Have you tried going to the Widgets screen (in your Admin view) and drag the AdminArea block from the Right or Left bar menu over to the "Drop here to delete" box?

Yes, that is where I first tried... it does not work.

However, on the left there is another menu and I was able to drag it down to the bottom.

Nothing works for me on the right side delete menu.

What theme are you using?
I just tried the above suggested method with the Leggero V2 theme in the widgets area and it worked by dropping it onto the "drop here to delete" box.

the login link might as well be hard-coded in the theme's template files. Please check the .tpl files under fp-interface/themes/your_theme, and let us know!
