Link a static page to a category ?
Link a static page to a category ?
Hi forumers,
is there a possibility to easily link a static page to a category or is the only way to do so is to publish a normal page with comments disabled ?

Argh, totally misread you. My answer works for the question "Ho to link to a static page or category", but that wasn't your question
Sorry!
Okay, fresh start: No, static pages can not be linked to categories, this works for entries only. Your proposed solution sounds like an effective workaround, though.
All the best,
Arvid

Re: Link a static page to a category ?
OK, I did not said anything, but AFAI remember I've read all plugins digests and did not found anything close, so you just confirmed that.
Anyway, this isn"t a problem anymore, as I decided to build my own blog upon the Erlang Nitrogen framework - it will use a DB (only for comments, posts are generated and put in a forever RAM cache until modification(s) occurs), but the scaling won't of course be the same.

A pity you don't go with FlatPress. But it sounds like an interesting project, enjoy!
