Hi alltogether,
since old PHP versions are getting removed by our web hoster after running out of support, our forum archive will not work any more one day.
I try to scrape it completely as plain HTML so its contents don't get lost. But with HTTraQt, a tool that promises to fulfill exactly this task, I end up getting not the results I want. I need all forum pages, overview pages as well as single topics, with all internal ressources (icons/images and stylesheets).
But no matter how I try it, I always end up also getting external ressources like images referenced in forum postings.
Does anyone of you have experiences with tools like HTTraQt and could give me a hint on how to do this properly?
Thank you very much!

Re: Need help backing up the old forum
Didn't work
And now that I was forced to switch to PHP 8.0, the archive finally stopped working. Now, I'll leave it to the Wayback Machine.
Sorry!
