Translate FlatMistyLook

Post by Snubbi » Mon Oct 30, 2023 7:03 pm

I have switched to the FlatMistyLook theme. Is it possible to translate it into Danish? I have translated all of FlatPress into Danish, but only the backend is translated, not the theme.

I haven't tested yet, but are you sure about your complete backend translation? Maybe there are some plugins with incomplete or missing translation. Just check them.
After this you can try to translate the whole theme.

Hello Snubbi,

I have created an issue about this. I am creating machine translated Danish language files for this. I will be happy to send you the files for correction. If we are quick, we will get this into the FlatPress 1.3 release.

With best regards
Frank

I have created a Danish translation for FlatPress 1.3 "Andante". This includes both the blog, the administration area, the previous and new default plugins and the setup.

You can download the package from here.
Feel free to correct the files.
It would be great if you share with me the corrected files so they can find their way into the next FlatPress release.

With best regards
Frank

But I guess I can't use that translation for FlatPress 1.2.1

I forgot to say. when I have looked through all the files and possibly corrected some text strings I will attach the translation here.

Hello Snubbi,

you can also use these files for FlatPress 1.21. However, there are still many places in version 1.21 which are not multilingual, but hardcoded. You can copy Andante to a subdirectory on your webhost, together with the language files.

When you run the setup, it will try to determine the language based on the browser you are using and the language of the web host. If that doesn't work, you can change the language to Dansk (DA) in the administration area.

Thanks for the proofreading
With best regards
