YouTube Videos DSGVO compliant

Hello,
On WordPress you can use the code from

to embed videos from YouTube DSGVO compliant. The video will be loaded only after clicking on the preview. Is something like this also possible for Flatpress?

with the upcoming FlatPress version 1.3, Youtube videos will be served via youtube-nocookie.com instead of yotube.com.
As for the preview image: That would be a rework of the standard BBCode plugin, or even a completely new "Youtube GDPR" plugin. The solution provided by Matthias Altmann downloads the preview image from Youtube and does some other sopisticated tricks - this isn't trivial to implement.

One workaround would be to download the preview image yourself (may raise copyright problems...?), upload it to your FlatPress blog and use it as a link to the actual Youtube video.
