hello everybody,
after years of absence I decided to start over again and create a small personal blog.
I discovered flatpress just a few days ago and after installing, I am getting to know the script further. but taking in consideration I had no business with any webdesign-specific topics in the last few years, I was a little overwhelmed by all the progress and how much everything has developed.
I am looking for a way to add personalized emoticons instead of the official unicode emojis to postings, but so far I wasn't very lucky. I looked through all files I thought could be relevant and even asked ChatGPT, which honestly wasn't very helpful also.
Do you have an idea or the ultimate advice how I can add a set of my own emoticons to flatpress?
thanks so much

Re: Customizing emoticons
Hello ivi.lovestoblog,
welcome back. Try this older plugin. It uses emoticon png's. However, I would go for the HTML-entity version as it is more resource efficient and works better in RSS feeds.
Best regards
Frank
