Error 500: Switch back to the default theme by editing the configuration

After switching to a different theme, error 500 is displayed in the browser and you can no longer access the admin area? Here you will find instructions on how to switch back to the default theme by editing the configuration.

My alternative:
  • Open Themes Folder in FileZilla (/myserver/myinstalation/fp-interface/themes)
  • Copy name of broken Theme to Clipboard
  • Delete broken Theme
  • Rename Theme leggero (or another working Theme) to name of broken Theme (paste from clipboard)
  • In browser refresh page which showed Error 500 with broken theme » should be shown now
  • In Admin Control Area switch used Theme from leggero (with name of broken one) to a different one which works
  • In FileZilla rename theme "leggero" (or the other you used) back to it's correct name
  • ready
New here. I am planning to switch from Wordpress to FlatPress. But it seems hard ...
