Category in page title
Category in page title
---English
Hello, everyone,
I noticed that the categories are unfortunately not displayed in the page title (Leggero V2). This is of course a bit unfavorable, since you cannot see which category you are in at the moment.
<title>{$flatpress.title|tag:wp_title:'«'}</title>
...there would still have to be the category, similar to the static pages.
Has anyone ever tried to implement this?

Hallo zusammen,
Mir ist aufgefallen, daß die Kategorien leider nicht im Seitentitel angezeigt werden (Leggero V2). Das ist natürlich etwas ungünstig, da man nicht sieht, in welcher Kategorie man sich gerade befindet.
<title>{$flatpress.title|tag:wp_title:'«'}</title>
...da müsste noch die Katergorie dazu, ähnlich wie bei den statischen Seiten.
Hat das schonmal jemand bei sich versucht umzusetzen?

Hi!
Where do static pages show their category in the title? AFAIK, you can't assign categories to static pages.
Entries can be filed to more than one category. Which one to show then?

Re: Category in page title
I must have expressed myself a bit unfavorably there. I meant that purely visually.
For static pages that would be
<title>blog title « static page title</title>
That would be for the categories
<title>blog title « category</title>

Re: Category in page title
I think, I understand now.
You mean, when the URL contains something like "category/name_of_category", the web browser tab shows "blog title" only.

Re: Category in page title
I know the plugin, but unfortunately there is probably still a security problem.

Re: Category in page title
I still use it myself as the issue was never specified .
I wonder if it will ever be updated.

Re: Category in page title
I still do not know exactly what the security problem is, all we have is this one sentence in Igor's blog...
