Getting BBCode to work
Getting BBCode to work
I was under the impression that the BBCode plugin is available for use when editing. However, nothing on it is 'clickable'. I have to manually insert every code. Is it supposed to work that way, or am I missing something?

Hi,
this is not the expected behaviour. Do you have JavaScript enabled in your browser? Which FlatPress version are you running?
All the best,
Arvid

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, JavaScript is turned on. I am running FlatPress 1.2.1; the current one according to the site.

And you have BBCodes activated in your Admin's Plug In settings?

Very odd, indeed. Which web browser are you using? Just a guess here, but would there be any particular ad/spam blocker that may be interfering with button activation?
I suppose if it were me, I'd try another web browser, just too see if it had anything to do with the problem.

I tried it in Chromium and in Vivaldi and it still doesn't work. I also tried it in Firefox with no extensions. Still didn't work.

I guess, until I find a solution, I'll just use this program: https://bbcode.ilma.dev/?id=draft-b4abf ... 1e8df5a161

Yeah... I'm stumped as to why the BBCode toolbar isn't working for you. Seems to me like everything is configured properly.Lee wrote: โMon Jul 11, 2022 7:53 pm I guess, until I find a solution, I'll just use this program: https://bbcode.ilma.dev/?id=draft-b4abf ... 1e8df5a161

Re: Getting BBCode to work
Could there be something wrong with the BBCode plugin? Would a reinstall of the plugin onto your server perhaps fix what ever the problem is? Just grasping a straws here.
