RSS-Feed bei Telekom-Homepagebaukasten

Hallo zusammen,

Hello f.gusenburger,

welcome aboard :) .
There is a wiki article about RSS feed incl. a widget for download here.

With best regards
Frank

Dear Frank,

thanks for our answer. I've already seen the article you included in your message. As I don't know how to add plug-ins to the Telekom homepage, I tried the version drescribed as "without PrettyURL" which does not work either. The link https://christophorus-sb.de/rss.php or https://christophorus-sb.de/Aktuelles/rss.php leads to the error code "The requested file does not exist." (as I would have expected).
Maybe you can help me again. Thank you in advance!

Greetings, Felix

Hello Felix,

strange that the file rss.php does not exist. This is normally part of the default distro and is located in the FlatPress main directory. So also there where the files blog.php, admin.php, default.php, login.php and the like are located.

I am a Telekom customer for more than 20 years, but I don't use their hosting services; therefore I don't use the homepage construction kit. Possibly the Telekom-FlatPress-Version is a functionally limited one.

At least the HOMEPAGE CENTER - HELP indicates that only ATOM RSS Feed is possible.

Do you have the possibility to access the FlatPress source files via FTP?

With best regards
Frank

@Arvid: Do you know something more? I know that Strato and Telekom offer a FlatPress equivalent in their hosting plans, but I can't judge if this modular system has anything in common with our FlatPress base.

Dear Frank,

I can access the Telekom server file system via FTP but I cannot find the Flatpress directory. Where is it located usually?

Greetings,
Felix

Hello Felix,

That is strange that the FlatPress source files are not available via FTP. In the HTML source code of your website something points to cm4all.
:thought_balloon: cm4all directory !? :thought_balloon:

Ask in the Telekom-Forum for the location of the FlatPress source files.

Possible solution:
Download our FlatPress source files here and then upload them via FTP to your webspace.
Then you only need to integrate the blog into the rest of your homepage.

This way you could use FlatPress with full functionality and also make changes to the source code yourself.

With best regards
Frank

Felix, willkommen bei FlatPress :)

Telekom utilizes the cm4all website builder kit which contains FlatPress as blog widget. I suspect that this is a highly customized version of FlatPress. For sure, they will not give you direct access to the source files - this is not offered as software, but as a service.
I fiddled around with the URLs a little bit, but I just did not find any way to get the RSS feed - it's only Atom. There's also no sign of an RSS feed in the site's HTML source code.

The only way I see here is to ask for the RSS feed in the Telekom forums.
Please let us know if you got a helpful answer there!

All the best
Arvid
