Making Greymatter work with Flatpress 1.3 beta

If, for any chance, one of you also tried to run Marc Thibeaults awesome
Greymatter theme on the 1.3 beta, you might have seen … nothing except a blank page …
The solution is not that complicated, though, because it's only the
include file statements without quotes, as stated in the
official Flatpress 1.3 theme rework guide on the bottom
https://wiki.flatpress.org/doc:tips:smarty2to4
In order to make Greymatter work, you just have to open each *.tpl file and put quotes around the filenames. Searching for "tpl" helps, as some of the template files include several other files.
I do not have a GitHub account and my Git knowledge is also quite miserable, so I am posting this description instead of fixing or forking the repository on GitHub.
Happy blogging,
cheers,
Wolfram.

You are right.
If you check here on the forum, I'm trying to convert all available themes, but sometimes it's impossible because the only available link (the author website) doesn't exist anymore.
I haven't still converted Greymatter theme, but i'll do it someday, unless you want to try on your own. Is not too complicated, especially when you use a good editor like RJ TextEd or Notepad++

Hi,
Interesting timing. I've taken over the original dev's Github repos. Would you allow me to update it with the code you just shared?
I'll keep it updated from now on.
Thank you for taking part in the theme's development!

I think there are no problem.
Just download the new Greymatter theme from the wiki, extract it from the zip file and then compare every theme file with a program like, for example, Winmerge, to check every difference into the files.
Obviously we have to wait for fraenkiman answer.

Alright, I updated Grey Matter to v1.2 today, here it is:
https://github.com/Num7normalis/greymatter
What's new in this release:
- Made the theme fully compatible with FlatPress 1.3. (If you're using FlatPress 1.2 or older, use Grey Matter v1.1)
- Removed social media share icons in the entry footer.
- Fixed a bug that crashed a couple of pages on FP 1.3. (Admin CP, ContactUs, etc)
- Tweaked a couple of colors in the admin CP.
- Updated preview images and readme.
I ended up modifying it manually, to familiarize myself with FP's templates. It was a lot of fun.
Feel free to make a pull request if you spot anything I missed. Or let me know on here if it's easier for you.
See ya!
