NEW Plugin - random-quote

With the help of Copilot I create a random quote plugin.

It displays a random quote on static pages and blog post entries using the shortcode `[random-quote]`.

Give it a whirl and let me know what you think.

You can see it in action here > https://seanboal.com/

Hello Sean,

welcome aboard. I have tested your plugin. It does what it is supposed to. Thank you very much. I've decided to put your plugin in the wiki.

With best regards
Frank

I have this plugin working on a blog post, what needs to be done to display it in the header.

I'd like to have this random quote displaying on the header or the sidebar too. Having it in a blog post is less useful imho

Hi Frank,

Thank you, and thank you for putting it in the wiki. I was going to try and place it in the wiki but thought I should get some feedback first and I did not want to mess up any of the content on the wiki since I have little experience in that space.

I also created a plugin called 'random-image' that functions similarly to 'random-quote' but displays random images instead. I would appreciate any feedback on this as well."

It appears to be too large to post here although it is only 354kb. So, for now, it can be downloaded at https://www.seanboal.com/fp-plugins/dow ... -image.zip

Thank you

I created the plugin to meet a specific need on a static page that I use for my home page. It will work in both posts and static pages, but I will need to rework it to be used in the header, footer, and sidebars. I will circle back to add that feature as soon as I have the time. Thank you, WineMan and macadoum, for the feedback.
