After 20 years using wordpress, I decided to switch to flatpress and i love it. wordpress become a huge monster and I started to spend more time dealing with the CMS than writing my blog.
Since i started using flatpress one month ago I got back all my motivation in writing and publishing. I am slowing moving articles from my old blog to the new one but also i will start soon to write new content.

it is really amazing how only in one month of utilization of flatpress i got back to my passion to write and post content. Wordpress it is really an amazing tool but now become too much just for a simple blog. With flatpress i can just focus on writing post. I have discovered it thanks to Softaculous while i was searching no DB CMS and just in few minutes I was amble to use it. It is just love on the first sight.
I use 1.4.1 with leggero theme with small personalization, in the css. Maybe one day i will be able to make my own theme, but for my needs it is already more than enough.
I will try to join the mastodon group, I have seen that is invitation based, can i get an invitation? or i should join another server? I am not very familiar with mastodon.

very happy to see FlatPress works great for you!
Mastodon is a network of distributed servers ("instances"), you can chose any of them. FlatPress resides on the Fosstodon instance, which is invite-only currently. I sent you an invitation link via email
