Hello macadoum,
macadoum wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 1:19 pm - mathematical spam question : I was asked 1 minus 7, I entered -6 but it was a false answer. I should have entered 6 so the comment can be processed. It's difficult for a visitor to post a comment as a lot of these mathematical questions contain a small number minus a bigger one. There should be only big number minus a smaller one.
It may be due to an incorrect translation. The source code is written in such a way that this requirement should output:

Subtract 1 from 7.

Result: 6

Check the language file if necessary.

Best regards,
Frank

Ok ! Then it's just a translation problem. I'll check that.

Wow I finished the whole update of the french language pack in just a few hours (I made a PR). Copilot is really a powerful tool, even if he quickly forgets some instructions.

I tested the new files on my test instance and all seems to works well.

Next I'm going to update the plugins' languages files. I could also try to create a plugin, but this is a whole other level :D

macadoum wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 2:26 pm There are some alignment problems with the comments. It seems than if you put a list in a comment, the next comment is misaligned and becomes a part of the list from the previous comment :D
See : https://macadoum.free.nf/?u=/2025/12/17 ... /#comments
I'm not sure if that was/is even intentional. If necessary, comment out this part in style.css, line 19 of the Leggero V2 style.

in productive operation, you will receive an email message when a new comment needs to be approved.

Ok, it took me a while to find where to edit comments :D So yes it's working well, it's just difficult to find the right place to edit comments.

Maybe we could get an edit button for the comments the way we have an edit button in a blog post ?

Thanks to Copilot, I was able to add support for embedded BitChute videos : https://macadoum.free.nf/?u=/2025/12/22 ... e-working/

Here is the diff : https://github.com/finkiki/flatpress/pull/8/files

It looks a little bit overengineered, but I'm not sure what I can change to make it more clean.

I know that BitChute is having a bad reputation, so I'm not even sure if you'd like to add it to an official FlatPress release.

Let me know and I'll send a PR :D
