Hello, I created a plugin for flatpress 1.5 rc with the help of Github copilot.
The goal of this plugin is to display a sticky notification/announcement top bar. It can be useful if you have a special or important message to your readers.
Once installed and activated, a new submenu tab appears in the Plugins page.
From there you can build your notification bar from A to Z. You can use BBCode, choose the text color, the background color, schedule the display for a certain period of time, choose on which page you want to display the bar, etc...
You can see the plugin in action on my website : https://macadoum.free.nf/
There is only one issue I was unable to resolve : the X button is supposed to close the bar but it's not working at all on my installation despite numerous attempts. I think it's because the plugin is inside the <head></head> element in the rendered page, like if there is a superfluous layer between the mouse and the button. Unfortunately, I can't make it work as intended.
Please try the plugin and let me know what you think
